Christmas performance freely adapted from Hans Christian Andersen
The Snow Queen looks into her mirror. The dark feelings of this world are gathered in it - envy, resentment, hatred, fear, mistrust... Her gaze had become so cold that the mirror shattered into a thousand splinters. They scattered all over the world in all directions. If a splinter gets into your heart, you are lost in cold and darkness.
Our Christmas tale tells the story of Gerda and Kai. Their friendship is put to the test by a splinter from the dark mirror. How much courage, trust and ingenuity does a friendship need and give? The young dancers from the dance courses "Losgetanzt", "Tanzfüchse" and "Yellows" will show this on the stage of the Alte Eisengießerei in the run-up to Christmas.
