Lecture in the Karower Meiler and excursion to a crane roost. With crane specialists Andreas Lehrmann and Thomas Opitz
It's getting cooler again and the local cranes are gradually gathering for their migration south. In keeping with this, there will be a talk by crane specialist Andreas Lehrmann at the Karower Meiler Nature Park Center on Wednesday, 24 September at 5 pm. Afterwards, you can take your own car to the Langenhäger Seewiesen. In this nature reserve in the west of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heath Nature Park, the cranes gather at their roost in the evening with impressive trumpeting. Crane specialist Thomas Opitz will accompany the tour.
The lecture and excursion cost €5 per person. Registration is not required. Please remember to bring warm clothing and binoculars. You will need your own car (carpooling may also be possible).
