A joint exhibition organized by the Landesverband Angewandte Kunst MV e.V., the Berufsverband Angewandte Kunst Schleswig-Holstein, and angewandte kunst Lüneburg
Artifacts created by craftswomen through a self-directed production process interact with their surroundings—whether an object or a living being—in a unique way.
This requires space—not only the physical space of the surroundings but just as much the inner space of sustained attention, playful observation, and unintentional openness in the encounter.
Thus, when conditions are right, a special magic can emerge—one that cannot be forced, yet which we can approach quietly and attentively.
The exhibition concept PAARE Resonanz seeks to create these conditions for both the objects and the visitors. The artists have explored, to varying degrees of intensity, the resonant relationships with their exhibition partners and the objects. The result is a series of exciting PAIRINGS, ranging from harmonious coexistence to high-energy juxtapositions.
But always—or so it seems—they have a lot to say to one another!
