The Tritonus Guitar Trio with Gergely Szurgyi, Levente Molnár and Bálint Varga from Hungary fascinates with passionate temperament, technical brilliance and impressive precision. Since winning the prestigious GFA Guitar Competition in the USA, the ensemble has been on the road to international success, delighting audiences on the major concert stages.
After years of intensive artistic development, numerous competitions and worldwide appearances, the trio has found its very own musical signature. In the rarely heard format of the guitar trio, they open up a repertoire that is hardly known in this instrumentation. Their concert program is an exciting interplay of monumental sonority, subtle playfulness and deep expression. One thing always takes center stage: the unmistakable character of each individual work.
Hungarian and contemporary compositions are heard as well as rousing medieval pieces and baroque soundscapes through to popular Spanish pieces. Multifaceted, lively and full of energy.
The Müritz Guitar Festival will take place from June 10 to 13, 2026 in Röbel/Müritz and Waren (Müritz).

- 1st Müritz Guitar Competition on June 13 from 1 p.m. at the Kreismusikschule Müritz, jury: musicians from the Tritonus Guitar Trio
- Final concert with David Angulo Arce (CRI) and award ceremony | main prize is a guitar from the company Hanika guitars
