The first "Sunday concert" this year. We are looking forward to "Piano-Power-Station". An afternoon that shows: piano music can rock.
When powerful piano sounds meet rousing rhythms, the result is a musical experience of a special kind: on May 3, 2026, the Berlin band Piano Power Station will make a guest appearance in Warnemünde as part of the "Meeresbrise" concert series.
The trio stands for a unique sound concept: two pianists and a drummer unleash an energetic mix of boogie-woogie, rock'n'roll, funk and classical music. With virtuosity, joy of playing and a good dose of humor, they create a sound that goes far beyond what you would expect from a classical piano concert.
Band founder Harald Wittkowski, who has been shaping the German music scene since the 1980s, combines decades of stage experience and musical passion with his fellow musicians. Together they interpret well-known works in a completely new way and combine original compositions with surprising arrangements ranging from classical to rock.
Piano Power Station are known for their captivating live performances, where musical precision meets spontaneous improvisation. Whether soulful passages or explosive forces of sound - the audience is captivated from the first to the last minute.
Against the maritime backdrop of Warnemünde, this concert evening promises to be a special highlight of the "Meeresbrise" series - full of energy, emotion and musical surprises.
An afternoon that shows: piano music can rock.
