On Saturday, June 13, 2026, 7.30 pm, the Nordhausen Youth and Chamber Choir will be performing a summer concert in the Catholic Provost Church of St. Anna in Schwerin. Admission is free - a donation is requested at the exit.
Even before its traditional concerts in Nordhausen and the surrounding area, this year's concert tour will take the choir to the Baltic Sea for the seventh time. The audience can expect a program of compositions from the Baroque to the present day in a wide variety of styles - from canons and warm-ups to lieder movements and pop songs, from motets to polyphonic choral works from Sweden, Norway, England, Hungary and Austria, among others - including works by Dowland, Brahms, Rheinberger, Nystedt, Arnesen, Herzog, Chilcott and Rutter.
Admission is free - a donation at the exit to support the choir's work is requested by Chor Nordhausen e.V., which supports this choral work. The singers look forward to seeing their audience.
