The Independent Trio brings together three promising young musicians from German-speaking countries who have found a common musical language despite their geographical distance. On this evening, they feature the Schwerin saxophonist and winner of the Schwerin Jazz Night Award Caspar Rutsch. With their compositions, they bring an independent aesthetic of modern contemporary jazz to the stage. Curiosity, spontaneity and joy of playing characterize their interplay. Their music tells stories, crosses boundaries and unfolds its full effect, especially live.
