The Camerata of the Bundesärztephilharmonie was founded in 2022 on the initiative of Jochen Hoffmann together with chamber music enthusiasts from the Bundesärztephilharmonie. In recent years, there have been very successful concerts with large-scale works for wind ensembles, as well as string serenades and symphonies with chamber orchestras. All participants share the joy of the intensity of the "small form"
Jochen Hoffmann has been deputy principal flautist at the Deutsche Oper Berlin since 1987, a member of chamber music associations such as the "14 Berliner Flötisten" and others, and has been a wind coach with various orchestras (LJO Berlin, Orchestra of the HU Berlin, Bundesärztephilharmonie and others) for several years. He particularly enjoys his work as artistic director and conductor of the Camerata of the Bundesärztephilharmonie.
With the "Gran Partita" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, you will experience incomparable melodicism and the art of variation on a symphonic scale, played on 13 delightfully different wind instruments. This music was iconically immortalized in the cult classic "Amadeus". Two arias from "Le Nozze di Figaro" set the mood for this rare listening pleasure.
