Dieter Gasde - voc, sax, mh, fl, perc
founded the Thuringian blues band "Travelling Blues" and led it for over 20 years. During this time, he also played temporarily with Stephan Diestelmann's folk blues band, sang in the jazz/funk band "Prima Klima" and in the Alexander Blume Quartet. Concert tours took him to the People's Republic of Poland and the CSSR. From 1998 to 2002 he toured as a guest soloist with the Thomas Stelzer Trio and the "Bloody Rhythm Fingers" from Dresden. He is also a regular guest in other bands and is always on the lookout for new musicians. He plays soul and blues with Leonard Alexander Exson from Chicago, founded the New Orleans band "Gumbolaya" and has been touring again with the "Traveling Blues Band" since 2009. The relaxed enthusiasm with which they interpret their music, interspersed with solo interludes by Dieter Gasde, make a performance by the trio a musical experience that you should not miss.
Stylistically, there is music by B.B. King, Snooks Eaglin, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Ray Charles, T-Bone Walker, John Lee Hooker, ..... and many more.
But also in the direction of New Orleans with songs by the Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Professor Longhair Fats Domino, Jonny Otis, Taj Mahall ......... and many more.
