Concert: Artur and band
The Greifswald-based band "ARTUR" reflects the vastness of the North German coastal landscape in their songs. "ARTUR" is known for its calm, heart-pounding bass-driven sounds, but they also have danceable and exhilarating songs up their sleeves that really come into their own during live performances.
No two concerts are alike; improvisation and interaction are always part of the performance. Looking back on countless concerts—including sold-out city halls and theaters, airplay on radio stations across Germany, and the first drive-in concert ever held in northern Germany (entirely organized and staged by the guys)—one thing is clear: they’re definitely capturing the spirit of the times! The band led by “ARTUR,” consisting of Malte Krüger-Redwanz (guitar), Sven Köppert (bass), Artur Apinyan (piano & vocals), and Lukas Depenthal (drums), takes the concert experience to a level that gives you goosebumps, musically connecting with every generation right where they are. Their music has a genuine and authentic sound, as they tell stories about the ups and downs of life, about our times today, and the highs and lows that come with them. An interplay of euphoria and melancholy.
