Fat Angels is a young quintet from Szczecin that blends ambient, acid rock, and psychedelic soundscapes. Their music explores the boundaries of perception and consciousness, creating a hypnotic atmosphere all its own. Parallels are often drawn to the legendary band The Doors—but Fat Angels forge their own path. Every performance is an experiment: original compositions meet improvisation, performance, and audiovisual elements. Nothing is entirely predictable—not even for the band itself. This gives rise to intense soundscapes that unfold in the moment, opening the mind while simultaneously setting it in motion. Fat Angels combine contemporary forms of musical expression with a pronounced zest for experimentation, consciously transcending the boundaries of conventional genres. Among other things, the band collaborates with the Teatr Polski w Szczecinie (Polish Theater in Szczecin), where they develop new forms of interplay between music, performance, and visual art.
To round out the evening, the concert turns into a party: DJ Akaya, also from Szczecin, takes over the decks and brings the electronic energy of the Polish port city to Greifswald. With driving beats and a knack for creating atmosphere, DJ Akaya invites you to dance the night away.
