Orchestra concert A drama of images and music Live images: Frank Otto Sperlich Music by Beethoven and Thönes (world premiere!!)
Special festivals also need special moments and this year it is a world premiere of an orchestral concerto. The composer is none other than Philipp Thönes, known from the "Putbuser Klaviersommern" and various solo evenings here at the theater. A very young, highly talented pianist, prize winner from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, from Rostock has created this work. The sponsoring association has made it its mission to "offer young talents a stage" as part of its festival. The Prussian Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Jürgen Brun - also a regular guest in Putbus - was immediately enthusiastic and prepared to work on this new creation together with Thönes at the piano and perform it exclusively for the festival visitors in this orchestral concert in the Fürstliches Schauspielhaus.
Conductor: Jürgen Bruns / Soloist: Philipp Thönes (piano)
