Games get-together for young and old
Playing together is not only fun in bad weather! We offer a large selection of games for people of all ages, game explanations and a game rally.
Participation is free of charge. The venues are the JOO! Youth Center and the Waren City Library.
Together at the game table: space for fun, for moments of happiness and for training cognitive skills
PLAYING is the way to learn and LEARNING is often as easy as playing - those who play learn to win and lose, acquire cognitive skills and train themselves in dealing with others. And on top of that, PLAYING is fun. So why not pick up a board game more often? If you want to try out new games or simply play with friends, "Stadt-Land- Spielt!" is the place to do it, and perhaps even close by. Every year in September, game enthusiasts - big and small, young and old - meet in many places at various organizers in German-speaking countries. We support the organizers with our committed partner publishers, who provide numerous games.
"Stadt-Land- Spielt!" will take place in 2025 on the weekend of September 20/21. We can expect 400 locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium. Game clubs, game libraries, libraries, game and book stores, youth centers, vacation destinations and other public institutions will host this event. Games clubs in Poland also invite people to "Stadt-Land-Spielt! They manage the weekend themselves, entirely in the spirit of our non-profit project. Next year, Stadt-Land-Spielt! will be held on September 19/20, 2026.
