Grim and Aksel are best friends and dream of making music history as the best band in the world. When their band "Los Bando Immortale" is invited to the Norwegian Rock Championship, their goal is suddenly within reach.
Unfortunately, they have two problems: Aksel can't sing and they lack a bass player for a real band. When only Thilda turns up at the audition with her old-fashioned cello, the big dream seems to be over for good. But the defiant Thilda proves that you can also rock out with a cello. With the help of cool rally driver Martin, they set off together on a crazy musical road trip across Norway in a stolen camper van.
The boys have no idea that Thilda has a secret that could put their entire venture in danger. Police and parents are soon hot on the young musicians' heels.
