A touching drama about a woman who loses her family and learns to celebrate life again despite her grief.
Austria/Germany 2026, based on the autobiographical novel by Barbara Pachl-Eberhart, Director: Adrian Goiginger, Length: 121 minutes
DA: Valerie Pachner, Robert Stadlober, Stefanie Reinsperger, Ronald Zehrfeld and others.
Barbara works as a clown in a children's clinic, Eli on stage, with big dreams and not always realistic artistic ambitions. They live happily, lovingly and full of imagination with their two small children on an inherited farm in need of renovation. But one day there is an accident with a clown bus at the railroad crossing - Eli was probably singing far too loudly with the children again, making jokes and then this train came along. Eli is killed instantly, Fini and Timo die a little later in hospital. Barbara is paralyzed, she despairs of her life and threatens to break. But at some point she begins to face up to her fate: "I am alive and I want to remain part of normal life," she writes to all her friends. But the grief, pain and love do not disappear.
