Fernando, a young Mexican ballet dancer, has managed to cross the border into the United States illegally and make his way all the way to San Francisco. Now he stands in the kitchen of a luxurious townhouse and seems to have reached his goal. The house belongs to his lover, Jennifer McCarthy, who runs the foundation of her father, Michael, a multimillionaire. The significantly older woman is torn when she finds Fernando in her bed late one evening. On the one hand, she desires him; on the other, despite the sensual romance that clearly binds them, a rift remains.
