Advent on the road - Tractors become stars
The Christmas tractors are rolling - a whole parade of shining horsepower that quickly transforms Advent into a festival of sparkling rims.
When the brightly decorated giants roll up, even the darkest winter skies are lit up. A spectacle that captivates young and old alike.
With their gleaming appearance, the region's farmers send a warm greeting from the fields to the Hanseatic city: Christmas lights instead of high beams. If you are on your way to the theater singing at 4:30 pm or to the atmospheric Nikolai market in the Johanniskloster, you should definitely plan a detour to the harbor island . The flashing tractors are ready to be admired there from 5 pm - so close that you can almost feel the festive light.
From 6 p.m., the sparkling fleet sets off on its circuit through the city. Then the caravan of happy horsepower messengers moves through the streets like a rolling wreath of lights before finally arriving back on the harbor island and ending the evening with a final radiant greeting.
