Visit the manor house and get into the musical mood for the Christmas season
Christmas concert
on 12.12.2025 at 7 pm
with OKAPI
In addition to a few funny and contemplative little stories, there will be a good mix of classics (Silent Night), funny songs (Oh you fat Christmas goose) and English evergreens. Get in the mood for the Christmas season together with a colorful program and a good glass of mulled wine in the festively decorated manor house under the big Christmas tree.
OKAPI are an indie folk trio consisting of Julian Dietz, Nils Höddinghaus and Anne Ebel. The actors got to know each other at the theater and formed a band in the summer of 2017.
Influenced by artists such as "The Tallest Man On Earth", "Mumford & Sons" and "Milk Carton Kids", they tell stories inspired by life and create a unique atmosphere. The boys are also accompanied by Anne Ebert on the cello. Whether their own songs or newly set to music such as "Rocket Man" and "Heute hier morgen dort", the three interpret them on stage with more than 50 instruments. So the concert is not just something for the ears, but you can also watch the artists as they move barefoot from instrument to instrument with virtuosity, taking the audience on a sonic journey through the emotions.
Their songs are characterized by catchy guitar sounds, polyphonic harmonies and expressive melodies and tell stories inspired by life, both in German and English.
Snacks and drinks will be provided. Oh yes, and the famous apple punch with apples from the estate park will of course be available again.
