A haven—a place of peace, reflection, and fellowship. This wonderful venue is provided to us by the Bernsteinpalais at Hotel Vju. The charming trio of clarinet, viola, and piano will delight us with their heartwarming and rich sounds.
Mozart, too, drew inspiration from places of conviviality and composed his so-called “Kegelstatt Trio” in the vicinity of a place “where people play skittles.” This unique instrumentation inspired numerous composers in later generations, including Robert Schumann with his “Märchenerzählungen” and Max Bruch, who drew inspiration from Schumann’s pieces for his Eight Pieces, Op. 83.
