Chainsaw Course 6 spots available out of 6; Registration deadline: February 8, 2027
Upon completion of the chainsaw course, participants are authorized to fell standing trees with a diameter at breast height (DBH) of up to 19 cm and to process fallen trees for personal use. The course covers the following topics: - Workplace safety and accident prevention - Chainsaw basics - Operating and working with a chainsaw - Practical exercises and chainsaw use. The chainsaw course takes place at the Billenhagen Forestry Office.
Minimum number of participants: 5; if there are fewer participants, the course will be canceled via email shortly after the registration deadline.
If there are more than 6 participants, the practical portion will be held the following day starting with the 7th participant.
Registration is preferred via email. You will then immediately receive a registration form as well as a PDF file with additional information (age, cut protection, etc.)
