On the occasion of the anniversary "15 years of the World Heritage Site Ancient Beech Forests in MV", a festive ceremony with Minister of Agriculture Till Backhaus will take place at the KÖNIGSSTUHL National Park Center on Thursday, June 25, 2026

In a special atmosphere, visitors can expect a variety of insights into the UNESCO World Heritage Site and a varied program.

Program:

All day: World Heritage short tours & World Heritage rally

10:15-11:00 a.m.: Kick-off Children's University with lecture by Prof. Dr. Hans Dieter Knapp

11:00-17:00: World Heritage outdoor exhibition, stands of the World Heritage partners and the National Park Authority with VR glasses at the stand

11:15 a.m.: Forest singing with Thomas Putensen

11:45 a.m.: Premiere of the World Heritage film in the cinema with picnic

12:00-14:00: Forest singing with Thomas Putensen

13:30: World Heritage guided tour with rangers

14:00: World Heritage Quiz "1, 2 or 3"
