KAT VON STENGLIN weaves fabrics and tapestries with plant-dyed wool Her images are first created in her head, then on paper, and then on the high loom. ALEXANDER VON STENGLIN creates individual ceramic objects and utility ceramics in various techniques.

Kat von Stenglin: The work process begins with setting up the loom, spinning the wool, which is then dyed with plants. Fabrics in beautiful natural tones are created on flat looms. Kat von Stenglin weaves tapestries on high looms in predominantly geometric patterns with an aspired objectivity.

Alexander von Stenglin: His techniques and design possibilities range from the advancement of basic procedures in the production of utilitarian objects to the intricate processes required to realize his artistic repertoire of forms.
