Friederike Fechner teaches at the music school in Stralsund and Matthias Suter plays percussion in the Vorpommern Philharmonic Orchestra.
The unusual liaison of violoncello and marimba/vibraphone suggests something exciting and new. The two musicians of the duo Cello & Mallets delight and surprise with this special concert.
There are hardly any compositions for these instruments and so they dared to tackle Johann Sebastian Bach, Michel Corrette, Astor Piazzolla and Erik Satie themselves and arranged their works for their instruments.
Unusually, a cello suite in combination with a vibraphone - an incredible musical experience.
