Cattu, the dreamcatcher
alias Carsten van den Berg is a kind of living dreamcatcher!
In many of his songs, children's dreams are actually captured for a
brief moment: Songs about racing snails, squirrels, pirates,
owls, knights, hats, or, for example, about the secret of the ladybug's dots.
Cattu's music could be described in a (very short) nutshell as follows:
"Children's songs with a bit of wit and pep, but also sometimes with contemplative tones
and lots of fun for everyone to join in and sing along".
The trained music teacher and former music editor of a school book publisher has been writing his own children's songs since
2002. The Rhinelander, who lives in Berlin
, performs in theaters, daycare centers, schools and at festivals throughout Germany with his "Dreamcatcher Join-in Programs".
