Discover Ludwigsburg's sights
From July 1 to September 2, 2026, the Förderverein Schloss- und Gutshofanlage Ludwigsburg e. V., in collaboration with the Kemnitz Protestant Parish, will offer guided tours every Wednesday of three attractions in the village of Ludwigsburg: the castle of the Dukes of Pomerania, built in 1592, which was also an original setting for North German Romanticism; the church (castle chapel) built in 1708; and the 19th-century mausoleum.
The discovery tour begins at 6:00 p.m. in the castle courtyard and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Admission is free—donations to support the Friends Association and the castle chapel are appreciated. No registration is required.
