Half a century of musical passion and living history. The Leipzig cult band is celebrating its 50th anniversary on stage in 2026 with an extensive tour. With a film about the band's history and songs from 5 decades, visitors can look forward to a look into the history of lived music, friendship and attitude to life, on a journey through time together. Since its founding in 1976, Karussell has written music history across generations with its songs from 10 albums and helped shape German rock music. For many people, their songs have become an emotional soundtrack, a life companion, a source of comfort and a source of critical reflection. Karussell have always been characterized by their high standards of lyrics, music and an excellent stage sound, combining zeitgeist and emotion. They have remained true to this claim to this day.
