Whether roaring lion, cheerful ladybug or cuddly polar bear - on Rose Monday, Rostock Zoo becomes a colorful carnival world!
We look forward to seeing all the little visitors slip into the role of their favorite animal and visit their big role models at the zoo.
The highlight
All children who come to the zoo dressed as an animal on Rose Monday, February 16, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11:11 a.m. will receive free admission.
To make the carnival fun really animalistic for everyone, we are happy to receive a complete costume. Just an accessory (such as a headband) is not enough - we want to admire you in all your animal splendor!
