Edgar Allan Poe... the name alone gives you shivers and goosebumps. The raven, who croaks his "Nevermore" as a nocturnal visitor, is able to see the souls of the dead, knows exactly where and how murders have taken place and recites these stories in lines of pitch-black humor.
He tells stories about the life-weary living and the extremely lively dead, pokes fun at people's superstitions and presents many a classic: he leads us through the bush where ring ouzels nest, croaks lyrical fountains and the morning star glows above everything.
