A crime comedy featuring the Barther Amateur Ensemble
When a body suddenly turns up at the “Kuchenglück” café—where it seems the whole village gathers to catch up on the latest gossip—the tranquil village life comes to an end. The police can’t get there, so self-proclaimed mystery writer Claudi immediately takes charge of the investigation with her notebook. The café owner Maria, the shy beekeeper Willi, the romantic temporary waitress Sophie, and the eccentric country doctor Klara also get involved in the case. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect, and strange alliances form amid cream cakes and cleaning sprees. And as they provide each other with alibis, they drift further and further away from solving the case. But what does the cat-loving neighbor have to do with it? And what role does the security service play in the case?
Suspense, humor, and delicious cakes. Five suspects and a body! And in the end, only one question remains: What actually happened here?
