Buer Matthias Stührwoldt tells with North German humor about big and small disasters in his country life.

Kirch Stück: The Förderverein der Kirche zu Kirch Stück e.V. and the BUND-Landesverband M-V invite you to a special Low German afternoon! On Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 3 p.m. we have Buer Matthias Stührwoldt from Stolpe in the district of Plön as our guest in the "Landhaus Schwerin", An der Chaussee 28, Schwerin-Medewege.

In the middle of Schleswig-Holstein, Matthias Stührwoldt runs a 107-hectare dairy farm.
hectare dairy farm. His family's everyday farming life today and in the past is rich in stories. Stührwoldt tells them in a cheeky and loving way: short stories, poems and columns. In his texts, he describes country life in all its facets, as it presents itself to him as an organic farmer and father of five children. With North German humor, he tells of catastrophes large and small.
First book: "Verliebt Trecker fahren" (2003). Other works include "Der Wollmüt-zenmann", "Schubkarrenrennen!", "Lever he as ik!", "Allens in mien Kopp".
