With "Allegro Pastell", director Anna Roller adapts the book of the same name by Leif Randt. The author of the successful modern romance novel also wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation. Filming began at the end of May 2024 and stretched from Berlin via Brandenburg and Frankfurt to Lisbon.Tanja, 33, born in Marseille, is an aspiring writer living in Berlin. Jerome, 35, a successful web designer, in his home village of Maintal in Hesse. They keep their long-distance relationship alive with express trains and cell phone messages. But a website designed by Jerome triggers a first break - a story about closeness, loss and the coming and going of love.
