With his legendary E-Street Band, he has been thrilling a loyal audience for decades.
In his program "Thunder Road", songwriter Daniel Schmidgunst explores the stories behind Springsteen's songs and his path from working-class child to rock icon. With his intimate and pared-down performance, he proves once again why he is one of Springsteen's most authentic interpreters. A microphone, guitar, keyboard and saxophone - that's all he and his two musicians, Marie Birkholz (sax) and Andreas König (keys), need.
