Björn Kröger presents his book "Zunehmende Trübung" (Increasing turbidity)
As the deepest lake in Brandenburg, the picturesque Großer Stechlinsee is known far and wide for its clear water. But if you take a closer look, you will recognize the increasing turbidity. Reason enough to get to the bottom of the story of its pollution... The changes in the natural environment occur in a temporality that we can hardly keep track of. The only thing that is certain is that once the past has passed, it cannot be brought back into the future. In the murky layers of the Srtechlin, Björn Kröger finds an illuminating perspective on the third, which arises from the old and the new, from nature and culture - and a careful language for the lifetime of a body of water in which the life and death of people is deposited in ever new layers.
