Two years have already flown by, and literature enthusiasts are once again gathering in Loitz on the first weekend of September. Publishers and authors from the region invite you to the 2026 Vorpommern Book Fair. Visitors can expect a diverse selection of new releases and tried-and-true long-sellers from the Vorpommern regional literary scene. In addition, the fair offers numerous opportunities to chat with authors and experience exciting readings.
The book fair will be open on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

1:00 p.m. with children’s books by Martina Loose
at 2 p.m., Christine Koch invites you to focus on the little things in everyday life and to question familiar perspectives
then at 3 p.m., Reinhard Bach will discuss the life and work of Ernst Moritz Arndt.
