Bonsai Exhibition, Information, and Demonstration on Care and Pruning
The Bonsai M-V Working Group, supported by the German-Japanese Society of Rostock e.V., and Lebenshilfswerk Waren gGmbH cordially invite you to the 3rd Müritz Bonsai Days.
Above all, bonsai represents a harmonious blend of artistic expression and natural beauty. The goal of the art of bonsai is to create an idealized representation of nature, without, however, replicating it exactly. Many people are active in bonsai groups and strive to continually improve their skills in bonsai design.
Following the opening on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., there will be a guided tour led by Manfred Labitzke, as well as a lecture on tree design and a demonstration by Uwe Friedrich from the Lübeck Working Group at 3:00 p.m. During their visit to the exhibition, visitors can vote for their favorite tree. Around 4:30 p.m., the votes will be tallied, followed by the presentation of the audience award for “Most Beautiful Bonsai.”
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, there will be another bonsai styling demonstration by Manfred Labitzke at 2:00 p.m.
