The repertoire, specially arranged for the band, features not only popular songs from six of Bodo Wartke’s programs but also rough drafts of songs and lyrical experiments from the band’s workshop.
The selection ranges from “Gaffer,” one of the piano cabaret artist’s earliest songs, to his socially critical pieces such as “Heilige Schrift 2.0”—and, most recently: “Das Grundgesetz”—all the way to formidable reinterpretations of arias and scenes from Mozart’s *The Magic Flute*!
