A celebration for all generations: Whether it’s children’s activities, live music, or a night of partying—the Boddenparty 2026 brings young and old together in Dranske. As always, admission is free.
The town of Dranske and the Rügen Piraten Water Sports School are once again inviting everyone to the big Bodden Party on July 24 and 25, 2026—the popular summer festival for families, music fans, and night owls on the Wittow Peninsula.
For two days, the area around the Dranske Bodden will be transformed into a lively festival grounds featuring concerts, water sports, children’s activities, market stalls, DJs, and spectacular fireworks over the Bodden.
Band “LIFT” – The musical highlight on Friday evening is the concert by the legendary East German rock band “LIFT,” which has been performing on stages across Germany for 53 years with songs like “Wasser und Wein,” “Abendstunde,” and “Meeresfahrt.” A highlight guaranteed to give you goosebumps is the song “Am Abend aller Tage,” which commemorates founding members Gerd Zachar and Henry Pacholsky, who were killed in an accident in 1978.
On Saturday evening, the band IrgeNDWann will celebrate all the big NDW hits in an energetic stage show—100% LIVE! Five professional musicians will party until the school burns down! The big hits of this unique musical era—whether “99 Luftballons,” “Der Kommissar,” “Da Da Da,” “Männer,” “Goldener Reiter,” “Codo,” “Bruttosozialprodukt,” or “Es geht voran”—IRGENDWANN brings them to the stage with the authentic NDW sound, and has a blast doing it! Be part of this unique journey through time and dance to the songs that shaped the unmistakable spirit of the Neue Deutsche Welle!
