It's Bluestime: In the tradition of the multi-award-winning Blue Wave Festival Binz, musicians from the international blues scene will be guests in Binz from 11 to 14 June. There will be plucking, drumming, swinging and singing in many places that will make New Orleans pale with envy.For the first time this year, it's called “Blue Wave Tanzt.” Blues dance promises emotion, energy, joy, and lots of fun. Annette Kühnle and Dextor Santos will also be there.

Annette lives in Heidelberg and has been spreading her love of early African-American dance in general and blues dance in particular as a teacher, dancer, DJ and organizer for almost two decades. She is internationally renowned for her expertise, her commitment, her energy and her warm manner. Her infectious enthusiasm for blues music, dance and history is reflected in every step she dances.
Dexter Santos (USA)
Dexter Santos discovered blues dance in San Francisco in 2005 and was immediately captivated by its rhythm, depth and expressiveness. With a background in Lindy Hop, he has worked with leading figures in the international blues dance scene and is now one of the most respected and inspiring teachers in the world.
As a multiple award-winning competition winner - including three-time Ballroomin' Blues Champion at bluesSHOUT - Dexter combines dancing precision with emotional expression.
