The old tradition of burning Christmas trees is celebrated on 10 January on Binz beach. Come along for a chat and live music from the band ‘BluesRausch’. Enjoy the special atmosphere by the sea.
You are welcome to bring your Christmas tree (completely undecorated!) to the beach. A drinks voucher awaits you when you hand in your tree.
Alternatively, you can leave your tree on the street for collection on January 4th (by the fire department or the technical department of Binzer Bucht Tourismus).
The Binz Fire Brigade Association will provide food and drink on the beach. The proceeds will benefit the work of the youth fire department.
