Every 1st Saturday from November to March (2nd Saturday in December), the Hans Fallada Library shows cinematic treats for the whole family. Today we accompany the most famous Viking on one of his adventures.
Little Wickie is repeatedly taken on raids by his father Halvar and his crew to learn how to fight and rob. But Wickie is actually a bit timid and doesn't want to fight, preferring instead to negotiate with his opponents. Halvar doesn't like this at all. But when Halvar is kidnapped one day by the terrible Sven, Wickie has to be both brave and clever to free his father. The little hero from the north is back and, as in the first part, he has to show his wits again to complete the many tasks that stand in his way during the journey to the castle of the terrible Sven. The warm-hearted humor and the surprising discoveries on the adventurous odyssey make for a brilliant cinematic experience even for young viewers.
