One week after the handball players, the beach in Warnemünde belongs to the footballers: the Beachsoccer Cup will take place from June 19 to 21, 2026. Around 100 teams will compete for the trophy in a 4+1 format. With at least eight games per team, accommodation close to the beach and catering right on the Baltic Sea, the tournament offers three days of sport, beach and partying on the widest sandy beach in the region.
After the handball players have already warmed up the sand, the footballers will take over from June 19 to 21, 2026. The Beachsoccer Cup Warnemünde invites youth and women's teams from all over Germany to put their skills to the test on the sandy beach. The game is played with four outfield players and a goalkeeper.
The tournament covers a wide range of age groups. Teams from U14 to U19 compete in the male categories. The strong field of participants in the female category is particularly pleasing, ranging from U14 to U16 and a combined U19/women's category. Each team will play at least eight 15-minute matches full of action over the course of the weekend.
The special thing about the tournament in Warnemünde is the combination of top-class sport and vacation flair. Accommodation is provided in various categories, from schools and youth hostels to hotels and vacation homes in Rostock and Warnemünde. As with the handball players, the focus is primarily on short distances. While breakfast is served in the respective accommodation, the athletes eat dinner in a large tent directly on the beach. Between matches, the athletes can cool off in the Baltic Sea or simply relax on the beach.

Between matches, the athletes can cool off in the Baltic Sea, put their skills to the test at the BALLFREUNDE game stations or simply put their feet up on the beach before heading to the beach party in the evening. The Beachsoccer Cup Warnemünde is more than just a normal soccer tournament: it combines sport, beach and community.
