Six school bands from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a big stage, and just one goal: to win the BATTLE OF THE BANDS title! On September 26, 2026, things will get loud at the Werftköchen at the Volkswerft Stralsund as young musicians showcase their talents live in front of an audience.
Each band will take the stage and compete for the audience’s votes with live music, energy, and passion. Because you help decide which school band comes out on top in the end—every vote counts!

The winner will receive a €2,000 gift certificate from Thomann for new equipment, plus the BATTLE-OF-THE-BANDS trophy for their school.
