Barbara Wetzel - The dispersion of objects

Quote: “Motif and material come together expressively; color, line, and surface, interwoven with deliberate intent, enable the artist to give intellectual form to her personal perspective on our vulnerable world. Wood, as the central medium, conveys a sense of mortality. A gripping blend of life-affirmation and deep melancholy (…)”.
