Music from three centuries performed by the participants of the International Master Class for Viola in Stralsund
The Brahmsgesellschaft Stralsund is now organizing the 16th "Baltic Winter" - a series of musical events in and around Stralsund.
The centerpiece is the International Master Class for Viola. This year for the first time, Prof. Neasa Ní Bhriain will lead the class. She herself is a participant in previous master classes led by Prof. Erich Wolfgang Krüger in Stralsund and the Brahmsgesellschaft Stralsund congratulates her on her professorship at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden. In addition to the traditional repertoire for viola, Prof. Neasa Ní Bhriain also works with electronic equipment and improvisation. The participants will present the results of their intensive work to the audience on the "boards that mean the world". We would like to thank our long-standing partner, the Theater Vorpommern, for the opportunity to once again offer our master class participants these work opportunities with the theater in Stralsund.
You too can experience these new timbres live in concert! Please reserve your seats for the event in the foyer of the Stralsund Theatre by e-mail at post(at)brahmsgesellschaft-stralsund.de or by telephone on 0177/2443855. We thank you for your donation at the exit.
