Baltic Neopolis Orchestra - VELO CELLO
VELO CELLO – let’s set off together on a musical journey through the German-Polish border region!
Along the Oder River, on the Baltic Sea, and at the Szczecin Lagoon, extraordinary places, beautiful landscapes, and concerts await us, allowing us to discover familiar areas from a completely new perspective.
The “Velo Cello” project combines music, travel, and the discovery of the region. The project’s name brings together two worlds: “velo”—symbolizing active travel and cycling routes—and “cello”—the cello, one of the most famous instruments in classical music. Together, they embody the concept of an event that invites you to slow down, listen to your surroundings, and experience the joy of being on the move.
During the summer tour, the artists of the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra visit picturesque locations on both sides of the border and present open-air concerts in places where nature, history, and culture converge in a special way. Each concert offers not only the opportunity to experience music, but also to discover local stories, landscapes, and the unique atmosphere of the border region. Velo Cello is an invitation to experience music together, get to know new places, and build bridges across borders. Because sometimes the most beautiful journeys begin with a single note.
