guest Elisabeth Fehmers - from psychotherapy to environmental and climate protection
On April 26 at 4 p.m., the Kunstverein once again invites you to a women's salon in the Red Pavilion. The guest is Elisabeth Fehmers. She worked as a psychological psychotherapist in Bad Doberan for 15 years and was an active member of the Kunstverein Roter Pavillon. She retired 10 years ago and moved back to Ilow, where she leads a simple life close to nature. She was an honorary climate protection sponsor for the municipality of Neudorf. In Ilow, this has resulted in a project with neighbors: "Fruit trees for the climate with tree sponsors". Together, the tree sponsors planted fruit trees of their choice, which they now look after, also together. This cooperation has warmed the climate in the village. And those involved hope that the growing trees and the resulting biotope will have a positive impact on the local climate and biodiversity. Journalist Eva Firzlaff talks to Elisabeth Fehmers about the beneficial effect of community, personal responsibility and small steps... The Women's Salon is an initiative of the Bad Doberan Equal Opportunities Officer. Gentlemen are also expressly invited. Admission free. In the exhibition Wundervoll - Natur und Weiblichkeit with paintings and ceramic sculptures by Christine Radecke.
