Christophe Bourdoiseau and the Trio Scho present the greatest hits of French chanson.
Concert on the back stage: free choice of seats and standing room. Drinks are available on site.
The word "chanson" alone combines everything the French genre has to offer: The lyrics of these songs show life in all its facets, tell of love and suffering, of joy and pain, of harsh reality and dreams. They sound like melancholy, philosophy and poetry. The music combines influences from folk songs, jazz, swing and much more.
With vocals, violin, guitar, accordion and double bass, Berlin-based French chanson singer Christophe Bourdoiseau and Trio Scho will transport us to France with their interpretations of the most famous chansons.
You can look forward to works by Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Gilbert Bécaud, Jacques Brel, Serge Gainsbourg as well as the musicians' own compositions - an evening of pure French chansons!
