Exhibition
Thematically, the new student exhibition addresses an essential part of the human condition, because dreams are something primordially human, they transcend age and culture and, above all, are very personal. It can appear as a wonderful dream that awakens motifs of longing again and again, or as a nightmare, a spectre. It can be a beloved or a frightening companion. What do we know about the dreams of young people? What do we know about their wishes, desires and visions of the future? What do we know about their fears, needs and hopes? Everyone has an individual dream for their life in the present and future. It is time for schoolchildren to express their dreams.
Visitors to the exhibition can look forward to the artistic diversity of the pupils, whose works have been submitted from various schools in the district of Rostock and selected by an expert jury. The exhibition is traditionally designed by the advanced art course at the John-Brinckman-Gymnasium Güstrow, under the guidance of teacher Barbara Wolbring.
