As part of a small art mile in the old town of Dömitz during Pentecost, 8 artists will be showing their works in the KADE (former Catholic church)! Coffee and cake and cold drinks will be offered in the small KADE Café.
These artists are exhibiting their works:
Egbert Zinner (photographer) began photographing four identical or similar things in different constellations. This resulted in a whole collection of motifs, always with a certain wink.
Silke Papzien (painter) loves the creative process and looks at her surroundings with an "artistic eye", transforming the row of houses into a collection of squares, the forest into a patchwork and people into a sign.
Muriel Kunkel (textile artist) discovered her interest in the art of carpet weaving when her mother smuggled Turkish carpets past German customs in the 1990s. She uses traditional works as well as imagery from pop culture.
Werner Götz (painter, sculptor, graphic artist, musician) is unfortunately no longer with us, but his works live on! His daughter Anna Lilly Götz exhibits sculptures made of wood and stone as well as pictures from his estate.
Claudia Trilling (digital art) digitally alters her photographs in such a way that they are arranged in colors and shapes or in completely new abstract arrangements.
Jochen Böttcher (cartoonist) brings current events and social problems to the point in a humorous way in his cartoons.
Anne Schönemann + Tana Velten |Atelier Seedorf (painting) Oil paints and other color pigments inspire the artists to create colorful and expressive works.
