Art exhibition by Malchow artist Karin Voelsch in the Malchow monastery café
From February 5 to March 26, the works of local artist Karin Voelsch will be on display in the historic setting of the Malchow monastery café.
Karin Voelsch lived directly in the monastery courtyard. She ran her studio "Farbklex" here, from which numerous works emerged. "Color bites me in the heart" she once said, meaning that she can express moods with color and that this is also reflected in her paintings. In December 2024, the Malchow-born artist was torn from life far too early.
Under the direction of the Malchow Art Museum, a small exhibition has been created on the premises of the monastery café, which will be on display until 26.03.2026.
In addition to local paintings, the exhibition also includes nudes and works inspired by the monastery.
The pictures can not only be admired over a cup of coffee, but are also for sale.
